HUMAN PERFORMANCE LAB

SPORTS MASSAGE

Targeted bodywork designed to release tension, improve mobility, and support recovery—so you can move better and perform better.

Recovery You Can Feel

Sports massage is purposeful, performance-focused bodywork—ideal for active bodies, stressed nervous systems, and tight muscles that don’t switch off. Whether you train hard or sit long hours, this is designed to help you move freely again.

Sessions are tailored to you: tension release, mobility work, trigger points, deep tissue where needed, and calming where your body needs a reset.

Note: If you have acute injury, severe pain, or medical concerns, consult your clinician first. We’ll also do a quick intake before treatment.

Why people book sports massage

Release tightness

Targeted work to help reduce muscle tension and “stuck” areas from training or desk posture.

Improve mobility

Supports better range of motion and movement quality—especially hips, back, shoulders and calves.

Recovery support

A staple in performance routines for recovery phases, training blocks, and weekly maintenance.

Nervous system reset

Many clients feel calmer, lighter, and more balanced after treatment—body and mind.

FAQ

Is sports massage painful?
It can be intense in tight areas, but it should never feel sharp or unsafe. We adjust pressure constantly to keep it effective and controlled.
How often should I book?
For maintenance, many people book every 2–4 weeks. During heavy training, weekly or bi-weekly can be ideal.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing. You’ll be appropriately draped throughout. We’ll guide you based on the areas being treated.
Can I train after a massage?
Light movement is usually fine. If you’ve had deep work, consider easy training or recovery-focused movement for the rest of the day.
